I got to the point of putting Aquaphor (or whatever you use as chammy cream) on the sit bones - in copious quantities - to get through a ride without chafing while it adjusted. Good luck!!!Mollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17228735227119427610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9131050.post-30082267970381467892009-09-23T01:49:12.819-04:002009-09-23T01:49:12.819-04:00Hey Meredith - okay the soft tissue will feel MUCH...Hey Meredith - okay the soft tissue will feel MUCH better. The sits bones - and the skin/tissue over the sits bones will be a little sore and/or painful for a few rides. I think mine took a few weeks to really get adjusted to. But it was such a HUGE difference from my previous saddle that it didn't feel that bad. Make sure that you use good shorts and chamois cream - and ALWAYS use a new pair of bike shorts before each ride (no matter how short) - that should help. I knew that my ISM saddle was great when I did a 3-hour trainer ride up in Wisconsin two weeks after getting it and I survived the ride intact. That was seriously a first! YEA! Good luck and let us know how it works for you!Marit C-Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06742572497365287990noreply@blogger.com
