Those stairs and running on hard mountain bike trails must have helped me. I am going to run this next year - so is Andrea.Helenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02758839508188873493noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9131050.post-21628714861455376122009-08-17T19:55:06.186-04:002009-08-17T19:55:06.186-04:00The race went well: I finished in 6:42, Helen in 7...The race went well: I finished in 6:42, Helen in 7:32. That put us both in the upper half of finishers (I was actually in the top 3rd of women, finishing 50/171).

It really wasn't bad at all. We're both fit and strong runners. (AND we're both not sore at all - had no problems on the stairs at my apt last night or today).

I'll probably write up my race report later today - www.afhill.com/gothedistanceAndrea Hillhttp://www.afhill.com/gothedistancenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9131050.post-26161344977974363172009-08-13T11:08:21.950-04:002009-08-13T11:08:21.950-04:00Eeeeeeeeeek, that is scary. May their lungs be healthy enough to handle that altitude! Are they even from CO?Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01480511924047053474noreply@blogger.com
