Last year I tried unsuccessfully to get into the Nike Women's Marathon in San Fransisco. I just got my e-mail yesterday that the lottery has opened again and will only be open until March 18th.
Here's my problem...
An unplanned trip to North Carolina
A three week cross country trip in June/July
A wedding in SoCal in September
How in the world can I afford another trip to California in October?
You're welcome to crash at our place. We're about an hour south of SF and can get you to/from race. You'd have to really like dog hair though :)

ReplyDeleteNick may have an idea -- there is a girl who is trying to get donations to do SxSW. using a widget like chipin (can you do that on blogger?) could let people donate small amounts.

I think I am going to apply. I've REALLY wanted to do this race and it doesn't hurt to try to get in.
