Thursday Thoughts

Good Thursday to y'all! You all provide great responses last week. Hopefully participation will again be high this week. First I'll throw out this general question. Does anyone know when NBC is doing their coverage of the 2006 Ironman World Championships? I want to make sure I don't miss it. Now, on with the questions....

1. Are you allergic to anything? If yes, what?

2. What is one fear you might be able to conquer? How would you conquer it?

3. Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? If not, when do you think you'll start?

4. Have you started your Christmas wish list yet? If yes, what are some of the things on it?

5. If you could only get one gift over the remainder of your life, what would you want?

1. I am allergic to pretty much everything. The bad ones, though, are bee stings and cigarette smoke.

2. I have a deep, dark fear of bridges. Walking over the Brooklyn Bridge last year was a big step for me. I have considered running the NYC Marathon and a marathon in Maryland that crosses the Cheasapeake Bay to help me with this fear.

3. I haven't not started my Christmas shopping yet, but I have a lot of great ideas. I have quite a few birthdays I need to worry about in there including both my parents and Dave (who is turning 30!!!!).

4. I start my Christmas wish list literally the day after Christmas. :) The things I have on it this year are pretty basic like a new pair of goggles and some white bath towels and an OSU car decal.

5. Wow, Meredith! That's a good question. He he! Besides the obvious of forever romance with the husband and world peace and the like, I think I would ask for something like an endless supply of money so I could not have to work or worry about bills and be able to explore fully the things that interest me.

1. I'm allergic to cats and hay.

2. Hmm...I'll have to think about that one too.

3. Nope, haven't started yet, though I have some ideas.

4. I haven't really started it yet, but I need to get on it soon since the first anniversary of my 29th birthday is approaching.

5. Maybe a lifetime supply of airline tickets and hotel rooms to be able to travel.

1. Poison ivy. I don't get it as bad as I used to, but I can still get it. FYI, in the summer of 1986, I got it on my weiner three times.

2. I don't have any abnormal fears, aka phobias. I wish I was deathly afraid of the Cleveland Browns winning the Superbowl, but unfortunately, I don't.

3. I'm usually done by now, but I've been slacking the past few years. I've just been so busy lately, doing house projects, posting comments on blogs, getting violently sick at Halloween parties and puking seven times in one night.

4. A Glock 26

5. I can't give a PG-rated answer to this one. Sorry.
