Thursday Thoughts

A few years ago when I worked a "real job" I had a cleaning girl that came out twice a month. It was wonderful to come home on those days and have the whole house clean. When I quit my job, I had to quit her too. And, I swear, I have not been able to keep up with the cleaning since then. Dave and I made an agreement this year that whenever we had a "fall-back" week that we would clean the house. As of yet, that hasn't happened. There are certain chores I love to do (laundry) and certain chores I hate to do (cleaning the bathroom).

So, what are the chores you love and which ones do you hate?

I am with you 100%. Laundry doesn't bother me, but I HATE cleaning bathrooms too. The daily stuff, like the kitchen, gets old, but I am *ok* with staying on top of that. Some people might think I am not from the looks of our kitchen, though. Since we are stuck with our stupid condo, I haven't had the opportunity to dislike lawn mowing or snow shoveling, which I would actually welcome if it meant we had a normal sized house instead of an overly modest condo.

When you say which chores that makes it sound like there are ANY that I like : ) Back when I was in the full time working world I had a house cleaner too . . . sigh. I miss the cleaner but not the job!

don't mind: laundry, vacuuming, organizing

can't stand: cleaning bathrooms, ironing
