The Eagle Has Landed

I landed a job today and against all advice I took the job on the spot. I am now a senior analyst for a major insurance company. (I'm not gonna tell you; I don't want to lose the job.) My start date is after the New Year so Dave and I are hoping to go on vacation sometime between now and then. We're looking in the SoCal area so Jeff, I'll be in touch.

Today I ran about 3-1/2 miles and it was hard. It was the first time I've really done a workout outside since the weather got cold. I have run very, very little in the last four weeks and it showed. I've put on a little weight and my heartrate skyrocketed. I've got my work cut out for me.

For now...I'm excited.

first off, congrats on the new job! that's super awesome.

please, get in touch with us with your plans! we're just over the hill from where you guys will be staying. we'd love to treat you to some home cooked food and maybe even a run somewhere in the local area. don't ask dianna about running with me...she'll tell you that the hills are big around here, it's not true...
