In loving memory of my dear iPod who passed away July 5th, 2010. Thou art gone, dear iPod, Gone beyond the world of excessive running and riding, But the memory of you will ever linger Through the passing years.
Dave doesn't have a Shuffle. We both have "regular" iPods, but I LOVED my shuffle for working out. I think I'm gonna have to buy another one.
It started acting flaky last week and cut out a couple times on my long run, but I think jumping in the sprinkler during the run might have ended it's life.
New tiny tiny shuffle is working out for me. lime green color is sweet as well. One major highlight is that you can keep your playlists intact instead of just shuffling ALL the songs on the ipod. Make sure you you buy the adapter so you can use your own headphones though (unless you like the standard-issued apple ones)

I am so sorry for your loss. Maybe it is like a pet, you should get a new one right away to take your mind off you dear departed :)
i feel for your loss. my shuffle died earlier this year after it was submerged in a stream crossing.

Only question is if it's worth waiting until September to replace it. Apple usually releases new iPods in September. Tough call.
