2010 Goals and Resolutions

People who say they don't like making resolutions are crazy. Everyone sets goals and longs to have do-overs, so what better opportunity than the start of a new year. I LOVE New Year's. I love starting over and trying to do things better even if it only lasts a few days. This year's goals are a little more subdued...things that I can do while still training for Ironman and running a growing business. You might think they're silly, but I find that if I don't write them down, they don't get done.
  • Grow out my bangs
  • Get organized (mail, papers, business, etc.)
  • Eat dinner at a table
  • Clean 1/2 hour to one hour per day
  • Work at my desk
  • Keep a photo journal
  • Get up to an alarm every day
  • Go to bed before 11pm unless working
  • Less Facebook, more real life (be a better friend / make time for friends)
  • Eat better, cleaner, smaller portions more often
What small things will you change in 2010?

Actually, this is a great list.
I love goals too.
But I like your bangs!!! (very high maintenance, though--I do get that.)
Clean 1/2 hour to 1 hour a day (actually I just said one hour) is on my list too!!
(of course--the kids make it so if I really don't want to live in squalor it should be more than that... or well.)
Also on my list is understanding my bike-taking care of my bike...

I love New Year's too...what is better than a fresh start? I love your goals, but cleaning 1/2 - 1 hr a day...craziness!!;)

I'm with D. I don't go by the calendar for making my goals or changes in life. I make the changes when I want to make them. Never been a resolution-making type.

I'm gonna gain 25 - 30 lbs! Hey I think your goals are great. One thing I've learned about Meredith is that if she puts her mind to it and says she'll do it, it's done.

Well. Let's hope I do not gain 25-30 lbs! Errr....no baby in me! I do like people's lists. I do not really make NY resolutions, but my main goal is trying to stay in the moment. I tend to get ahead of myself in everything and that is not good - especially being a parent.

Happy 2010!

I love the one about Facebook. It's a love hate relationship with me for sure.

Looking forward to watching your 2010 season, and year in general, unfold!!
