Personal Goals 2009

I like to separate my personal goals and my running goals. Not that my running goals are not personal, but I just think they're different. I'm a much more goal-oriented and driven person when it comes to my running than when it comes to my everyday life. These are not resolutions. If they were resolutions, they would already be broken. Instead they're goals to work towards throughout the year.
  • Eat in unless invited out or spending cash
  • Read 14 books
  • Blog every day
  • Clean the house every week
  • Take more pictures for myself
I'm sure as the year develops I'll add more to my list. For now, this is a start. And it's going to require a lot of work. I hate to grocery shop. My house hasn't been fully cleaned since I had to get rid of my house keeper. With several jobs, I find it very hard to do anything like taking pictures only for myself. And for the blogging, well, I've almost done it for a full month. It's getting easier every day. :)

Those sound like great goals. I sort of thought about some for this year, but never settled on any. I guess it's still not too late . . . .

Cleaning and grocery shopping....two essential life chores I dread the MOST. Im so structured in my running...I need to find a way to transfer those skills to my life. Sure would make things a lot easier :-)
