I started watching ER when it first started as my parents watched it and I got home from ski club at 10:00. I then got addicted to the show and even sacrificed my college social life to stay home on Thursday nights and watch it. That was during the glory days of the show and my mom and I would call each other each Thursday after the show to discuss. The show has since lost some of its luster, but I continued to watch it religiously every Thursday as I wasn't going to turn my back on the show.
This year has been a long, slow painful goodbye for me. I've cried a lot at most of the episodes. I know...don't judge me. :) This week I can't even get through the previews without tears. I'm a freakin' mess. And tonight, I might just die. But, I've been a fan from the beginning and I've loved the show and I'm glad it's going out with a bang.
So today's question for Thursday Thoughts is, what is your favorite/the best series finale of a tv show?

hmm . . . not sure. Maybe M*A*S*H, Newhart? (I know--I'm a big dork.) Not sure about ER yet . . . .
