Hi my name is Meredith and I'm one of those crazy girls obsessed with Twilight. Currently I'm reading the final book and I have seen the movie and will probably purchase it. It's a great mix of romance, sexual tension, and rivalry. Exactly what I like. :) I'm pretty bummed that in a mere 600 pages the saga will be over, save the movies that will continue.
Anyway, I'm also one of those people who likes to read the book before the movie comes out and then compare.
So today's question: what is your favorite book/movie combination?

Hey, so I have also been reading the books. I am on the final book, but I am finding it hard to get through. The first 3 I couldn't put down, this one I am just not motivated to read. I have yet to see the movie.
i tried really really hard to get into the twilight books. the first two were good, but i still havent finished the last two even tho i am in possession of both of them.
alice in wonderland is my vote for book/movie duo. both (and all versions of the movie) are wonderful! and ill never get sick of them!
Maria, keep going in book three. It gets REALLY good!
I'm thinking Lord of the Rings. Yes, I know they had to leave stuff out of the movies or they'd be even longer, and yes, they changed a few things too (some big, some small) but I think visually they were AMAZING. And I keep going back to re- read the books. Love them. All of them!

Y'all are funny. I really tried my hardest to get through Lord of the Rings. I read 400 pages and stopped. I couldn't remember the characters, there was too much details, and I was bored out of my mind. I stopped reading and haven't seen any of the movies.
