Sometimes a Picture Just Helps

It's been a rough couple of days in the Gordon household.  My good sleeper has decided sleep is overrated.  We put him to bed and he fights it.  FOR HOURS!!!  And the last two days he has sat in his crib for 3 hours and 2-1/2 hours, respectively, and not taken a nap either day. 

This afternoon we just had to get out of the house.  We went to my parents' where there are toys galore and lots of other stuff to play with.  It was a nice evening so we sat on the patio and watched Anderson stay busy.  Anderson's side-kick Kirby (my parent's dog) is so patient and so loving with him.  And even put up with this:

How can you not smile seeing this picture?  Thanks Kirby (and Anderson) for making everything better.
